Hi Carol--

The spherulite picture immediately preceding this one made me think of thundereggs, so I may as well go all in  and say that I think this is a thunderegg, but a very elaborate one with many axes.  The solid agate thundereggs I am best aquainted with would ordinarily have about two of the external button features that yours seems to be blanketed with :-)  The reddish exterior shell color/texture looks like our thundereggs from central Oregon, the shell has the color texture of rhyolite.
